Lorelei Medcalf is an artist, printmaker and teacher.

She lectures part time at Adelaide College of the Arts and facilitates printmaking workshops for all ages.

Printmaking is Lorelei's specialty and passion.  She makes big steel plate etchings, intricate copperplate engravings, unique-state books from tiny monotypes, and she screenprints the odd tea-towel or twenty.  Her exploration of materials includes creating intaglio prints from reclaimed metal plates, collaging her discarded proofs and drawing with etching tools made from found objects.

Lorelei lives on the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. She keeps sane by walking on the beach with a red dog.
